| How India will welcome Tesla? |
Indians are loving electric vehicles government also promoting them.
For capturing this wonderful opportunity Tesla's founder Elon Musk
announced to enter India in 2021.
Yes, 2021 is a year of hope.
A year from which everyone has a hope to achieve better.
So India is going to welcome Elon Musk's Tesla.
As per the sources “Tesla is looking at not just
selling cars in India but also gain volumes in the long run. The one model
which will give it the maximum numbers would be its upcoming, least priced
model from its global portfolio. To be positioned below the Model 3 sedan, the
compact e-car could also be a locally built model if the government doesn’t
impose too many duties on certain parts and subsystems.”
As we all know that Elon Musk has a huge following
among millennials it will definitely help Tesla to get sales.
And we will see some low-range cars from the Tesla.
As we all know that India is a very price competitive market we will
definitely see some competition between the players for catching more and more
market.
But we have to remember that India doesn’t have a supercharger network
like the U.S.
In the U.S. we can see a supercharger network like the petrol pumps in India,
maybe more than that.
India has to develop a supercharger network for encouraging electric vehicles.
We can't expect people will buy vehicles without the supercharger
network.
I believe that Government will develop the supercharger network for
encouraging electric vehicles.
Tesla’s Model 3 is not only the most affordable version to date when rolled out in 2017, but it has also emerged as the world’s best-selling electric car. The entry level is available in the following variants – Standard Range (RWD), Standard Range Plus (RWD), Long Range (AWD), and Long Range Performance (AWD). Its battery size ranges from 50 kWh to 75 kWh and driving range from 381 km to 580 km.
